July - Make Your Own Leather Crossbody Phone Bag

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, July 8th, 10th, and 12th

Time: 5:30-8:30 pm 

Working with leather is so satisfying. Have you wanted to learn but don’t know where to start? Join Wyatt Dietrich and learn basic skills on how to make a pattern, choose your leather, cut the parts, and dye the pieces. You’ll assemble and hand sew your project. Hand sewing takes a good bit of time, so these sessions are spread out over a week.  You’ll use tools for setting fixtures into leather and stamping thread patterns as well.  You may end up with some nicks and discolored digits, so consider the care that will be needed when working with sharp tools and effective dyes.  Are you a Harry Potter fan and always wanted to be able to count to 9 and ¾ using just your fingers?  If so, this may be the class for you!
