Your Arts Community Would Be Less Colorful Without you.

Since 1987 the The Council for the Arts has relied on the support of committed art enthusiasts like you to help us fulfill our mission to inspire, educate and create artistic opportunities within our community.

Over the last few months the Council, like many organizations, has experienced new challenges.  As a result of the global pandemic, we have been negatively impacted in so many ways.  Most significantly for the Council, it meant closing our doors for an extended period of time.  We have also suffered financially, as contributions from foundations and grants have decreased, been delayed or stopped entirely.

During this upheaval we have been reminded of how important our role and community work is.  We've used this time to evaluate how we fulfill our mission of inspiring, educating and providing creative opportunities, taking it as a chance to adjust our plans and better serve our community.  As a result, we have changed some of our planned programming, with a greater focus on arts accessibility for members of our local community, and a wider variety of artistic experiences. We are committed to building a stronger and more innovative arts culture within the Franklin County community.  We need your support more than ever now!

We hope that you will partner with us in our renewed vision and a revitalized sense of purpose, that with your help, will carry us beyond what we had intended to achieve this year.
