Watercolor Batik Workshop

Age: Adult & Teen
Instructor: Debbie Strand-Miller
Date(s): Friday May 19, 10am-4pm

Debbie will be teaching a batik process on Ginwashi rice paper, where students will learn how to create a painting using hot wax and watercolors.  Batik is a term that refers to using wax as a resist; wherever the wax is placed, paint can no longer enter the paper.  This class requires a basic understanding of watercolors; students should bring basic watercolor supplies and lunch.  Please call for a supply list.

Material fee $10 payable to instructor.
